At Stingreen Costa Rica, we are committed to transparency, fairness, and professionalism in all our services. The following cancellation policies are designed in accordance with standard practices within the Costa Rican travel industry.
π 1. Cancellation Requests
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or official communication channels (such as WhatsApp). A cancellation is only considered valid once confirmed in writing by Stingreen Costa Rica.
ποΈ 2. Tours & Activities Cancellation Policy
π’ More than 30 days before the scheduled date: Full refund of the amount paid (excluding processing fees, if applicable).
π‘ 15 to 29 days before the scheduled date: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
π΄ Less than 48 hours before the service or in case of no-show: No refund applies.
π¦ 3. Vacation Packages (Tours + Accommodation)
π’ More than 30 days before arrival: Full refund minus any non-refundable deposits and third-party provider fees.
π‘ 15 to 29 days before arrival: Partial refund (generally 50%), subject to hotel, tour operator, and transportation provider policies.
π΄ Less than 15 days before arrival or no-show: No refund applies.
Please note that certain services included in packages (such as hotels or special tours) may have stricter cancellation terms imposed by third-party providers.
π 4. Changes & Modifications
Requests to modify dates or services must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. Additional fees or rate differences may apply.
β 5. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at the scheduled date and time of the reserved service will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be granted.
β οΈ 6. Force Majeure
In cases of circumstances beyond our control β including but not limited to extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events β Stingreen Costa Rica will work with clients to reschedule services or provide partial or full refunds depending on the situation and supplier policies.
π§Ύ 7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on banks or payment platforms.
π‘ Travel Insurance Recommendation
Due to the nature of travel and third-party supplier policies, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation coverage.
